Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Computer Science Engineering is a 3-year Doctoral program offered by the CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT). The program is divided into three parts, namely, Part I - Coursework, Part II - Comprehensive Viva Voice, Part III - Synopsis Submission, Thesis Submission, and Defense. The students are required to undertake a course on Research Methodology prescribed by the University, which includes quantitative methods and computer applications. They can research core topics such as Computer Architecture, Data and File Structures, Discrete Mathematics, Operating Systems, and Analysis of Algorithms.
