The Presidency University was established in 2013 under the aegis of the Presidency Group of Institutions (PGI). The University is one of the top private education destinations located in Bangalore, Karnataka.

The applying candidates must have passed their Pre-University/ Higher Secondary/ 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as a mandatory subject along with either Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer.
The candidates must have obtained at least 45% total aggregate marks (40% for the reserved category students) in the above subjects taken together. Besides, the candidates must have passed JEE Main/ JEE Advanced/ Karnataka CET/ COMED-K, or any other State-Level Engineering entrance examination.

The applying candidates for the integrated law program must have passed Pre-University/ Higher Secondary/ 10+2 Examination Pass from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% in case of candidates under Reserved Category).
The candidates appeared for the CLAT/ LSAT/ PULAT (Presidency University Law Admission Test). The maximum age limit for candidates is 20 years as on the first day of July of the year of admission.

3. Students from Kendriya Vidyalaya Institutions who have scored 70% and above marks are provided with a scholarship amount of Rs. 25,000
4. Child of a Single Parent (Mother Only) who has scored 60% and above are provided with a scholarship of Rs. 25,000
5. Orphan candidates (for more than 2, 3, 4, 5 years) with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for the desired program with at least 50% wave off on the tuition fees
6. The students under the SC/ST category with a minimum of 60% marks will be eligible for a 30% wave off on the tuition fees
7. Sports Category candidates representing at State Level with 60% and above marks are eligible for Rs. 25,000
8. Sports Category candidates representing at National Level with 60% and above marks are waved off 25% of tuition fee
Note: Concessions for Sports Category is restricted to Individual Sports Only accept students who have proficiency in football, basketball, and cricket.
