Master of Science (M.Sc.) Applied Genetics is a 2 years postgraduate course in Indian Academy Center for Research and Postgraduate Studies. The students are given advanced knowledge in applied genetics. It is a study of genes that reveals information about a persons’ DNA that has been accumulated over evolution of a man. The students are taught application of genetics in molecular biology, developmental biology, medical sciences, agriculture, horticulture, etc. The students at the end of the course can become a research scientist.
