Master of Science (M.Sc) in Echocardiography is a 2-year postgraduate program under Allied Health Sciences. The students are trained to perform echocardiography or heart scanning. The course is designed to impart in-depth knowledge of heart chamber size, valve functions, and blood flow. They learn about the pathology of different heart conditions such as Coronary Heart Disease (CHD), Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD), Valvular Heart Disease (VHD), and Cardiomyopathy. The postgraduate students are mandated to take part in seminars, discussions, journal club presentations, and clinical postings.
