Master of Surgery (MS) in Otorhinolaryngology is a 3-year postgraduate clinical program that deals with the medical and surgical concepts of the Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology of the human ear. Students gain advanced knowledge of Ear Anatomy, Physiology, Genetics, and Otologic Surgery. The teaching methodology includes regular seminars, case presentations and journal club presentations.Students receive practical training on skill transfer and surgical procedures.The post graduate syllabus mandates them to attend regular clinics, seminars, journal clubs, mortality meets, and interdepartmental meets. Post graduates are directed to teach the undergraduate students. They also carry out research works for dissertation in their final year of graduation.

The candidates should have completed MBBS or done their Postgraduate Diploma from any recognized medical college or university and passed the qualifying examination with 55% or above aggregate marks. They should have appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate Examination (NEET PG) and obtained the minimum cut-off percentile to specialize in Otorhinolaryngology.
