The 3-year course teaches the students to restore the normal functionality of dental and oral tissues using aesthetic principles. They are trained to treat complex cases involving complete & partial dentures, fixed prosthesis, implants & maxillofacial cases. Besides practical sessions, they are mandated to carry out dissertations, paper presentations, and publications. The curriculum covers Dental materials, pre-clinical prosthodontics, complete dentures, aesthetics, and occlusion.

Candidates should have completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from any college or university recognised by the Dental Council of India (DCI) or the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). They should have secured qualifying marks in NEET MDS.
